The SUNY Adirondack Library provides a quiet, comfortable place for students to study and do research.
From the SUNY Adirondack Library webpage (https://library.sunyacc.edu (1), students can search for books (30,000 in print, and over 200,000 in electronic format), millions of online articles, thousands of streaming documentary videos, as well as course materials on reserve. Students can also find library research guides to complete assignments.
Librarians are available to answer research questions when the library is open. They can be contacted by chat, text, email, or phone, using links on the library's website. Librarians also offer in-class research instruction sessions. As needed, the library staff can provide access to materials from other libraries through interlibrary loan and courier deliveries.
The one-credit course LIB187: Library Research Methods is available online typically in the spring semester (https://library.sunyacc.edu/lib187).
Library hours are posted on the library's website. The library is located in the Scoville Learning Center, in the center of campus. The library's main phone number is (518) 743-2260.
