SUNY Adirondack Named Scholarships
Established by area individuals, companies and organizations, they typically bear the name of the individual or organization who funds it annually, or in whose memory the scholarship was named. Primarily, these scholarships are available to students already attending SUNY Adirondack with an established GPA. The competitive review and selection takes place in the spring semester of the student's first year and generally requires a minimum 2.5 GPA in 12 completed credits at SUNY Adirondack. All students meeting the minimum requirements will be considered automatically for a scholarship. A supplemental application may be sent to a small number of students who are eligible for scholarships which require essays or information that is not included in their academic record. Students will be notified of the selection in April.
