Estimated Expenses

These figures are provided for estimating expenses as individual student costs will vary and change.  Figures will not be finalized until passage of the state, counties and college budgets (late spring or early summer).  The estimated 2022-23 cost of attendance (COA) at SUNY Adirondack for full time students who are NYS residents is as follows. Please note these amounts are based on 2022-23 costs for fall & spring terms and are subject to change. Actual costs will be finalized after May 1st.

  • - Living On Campus: Average Direct Costs for Tuition*, Fees, Suite and Meal Plan ($19,048) plus Indirect Allowances for Books, Transportation and Personal Expenses ($3,700) = $22,748
  • -Living at Home with Parents: Average Direct Costs for Tuition* and Fees ($6,288) plus Indirect Allowances for Room and Board, Books, Transportation and Personal Expenses ($9,800) = $16,088
  • -Living Off Campus: Average Direct Costs for Tuition* and Fees ($6,288) plus Indirect Allowances for Room and Board, Books, Transportation and Personal Expenses ($14,800) = $21,088

 

You will notice that COA includes allowances for indirect (not billed) costs.  You are encouraged to view your semester costs and applied financial aid on Self Service Banner at Account Detail by Term. Please note the non-billable expenses are estiamted costs.

* Part-time students pay $212 per credit for tuition.  Out-of-state residents and NYS residents who fail to submit a Certificate of Residence to the Student Accounts Office by the semester deadline pay 50% above the in-state tuition charge.
