The AOS in Journeyworker - Building Trades Supervision is designed to provide students who have completed a rigorous accredited building trades or advanced manufacturing journeyworker program to obtain additional business coursework for promotion into a management position or create their own small business. Students will gain advanced standing from their building trades or advanced manufacturing journeyworker status and complete business, law, human resource management and general education coursework.  This degree is only open to students who have achieved journeyworker status or are actively enrolled in an apprenticeship program.

NOTES

  1. Journeyworker credits will be applied toward degree after successful completion of all other coursework. A student must either be actively enrolled in an accredited building trades or advanced manufacturing journeyworker program or have successfully completed a program to be eligible to declare this major.  The student is responsible for providing all required documentation.
  2. CIS 111 and TEC 101 (or their equivalent) will not meet degree requirements. Student transferring to Rowan University BA in Construction Management shall take BUS 103.
  3. Students transferring to Rowan University BA in Construction Management shall take BUS 201.
  4. Students wishing to transfer up to 84 credits to Rowan University BA in Construction Management shall see an advisor for details
